About Dundee University Rucksack Club (DURC)
Dundee University Rucksack Club (DURC) is an outdoors club based at the University of Dundee, Scotland focused on mountain sports: hillwalking and Munro-bagging, climbing, scrambling, mountaineering and more.
Founded in 1923, we're one of the oldest and largest outdoors clubs in the country and with a trip every week during term time we're also one of the most active, but you don't need to be a student to join.
About this blog
The actual meets book is the Club's log of all our trips, including attendees, routes taken and other information. It's a DURC tradition that after each trip we draw in it and/or write a little about our experiences.
This Meets Book is where we'll be sharing our trip reports online.
